My life turned to be something quite different than what I hoped.....I never expected to have to deal with the kind of challenges that presented themselves before me.You know that classic maxum...What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
I live in the san francisco bay area.Moved up here in the early-mid 70's. After my initical visit I knew that Marin was going to be my home and it is.This is where my heart is.
The most surprising thing that occured was the financial success. Coming from the kind of poverty I was raised in there was little hope of my realizing the american dream.

my home with my husband,which I find completely annoying.There's a comic who said,"Sure I want a man in my life. I just don't want him in my house." Well that pretty much sums up my feelings about the situation.
I have a daughter, now 27, that is worth more then the two of us together.Has done nothing but bring pride to us.
I read ,study and try to be of some use. Do what I can for women and their children to escape the nightmare of abusive partners.
I'm devoted to my friendships. Without whom I would not have survived. You really find out who truly cares about you when things go south.
